ROIBOS TEA with VANILLA
Morning times are never the same without this beast of a tea. Roibos tea is has a sweet and whole richness to it. And this is the best one I have found mixed with Vanilla added to it. It is the Dragonfly Tea, Roibos and Vanilla and it is filling and wholesome and comforting, great for mornings.
GREEN TEA & COCONUT
A day time tea. Green tea is very drinkable when some Coconut is added into the mix. I also like Genmaicha, which is green tea with toasted rice (IT TASTES LIKE POPCORN)(Plus its even more More-ish than coconut tea) The coconut one I have currently been drinking is one from Higher Living which is a nice alternative to Genmaicha tea occasionally.
ROIBOS TEA with EARL GREY
And an evening tea. This Roibos is again, from Dragonfly Tea. It is much more relaxing because of the Bergamot, but the wholeness of the Roibos takes the sharp edge you can get of Earl Grey. Much more drinkable and tasty and lovely and good for before bed.
KEEP ME GOING FOOD
These are probably the things I have less often out the mix of food I eat most days. I don’t really have a sweet tooth, but dried fruits are really good if you need a sugar hit with rich flavours.
NUTS & SEEDS
Nuts. Nut bars. Seed bars. Nut Butter. Toasted nuts. Raw bars. yum. The picture below features 9bar in Peanut and Sesame. They are really good, literally just nuts & seed mixed with honey and a little oil. The smaller bar featured is a Nakd bar, in Banana. These are dried fruits and nuts mooshed together creating a lovely chewy bar. These babies are high calorie, high energy, good fats, and just general goodness.
You can make these ‘raw’ style bars yourself. I’ve made a lovely chocolate cherry one, its literally just got Almonds, dried Dates and Cherries, Cocoa Powder (or Cacao), pinch of salt and water, so so good. Raw bars, you need to give them a try.
GREEK YOGHURT with HONEY
in particular 0% fat greek youghurt. I love this if I’m feeling a little hungry, but I’m not Really hungry. Just a tummy filler really with not much in it apart from some bacterias swimming around…
