If you have missed the last two posts on How to wear darks in summer, be sure to check them out! #1 focusses on eyes (HERE). & #2 focusses on cheeks (HERE).
Emily Says: “I love this colour I have chosen for my lips, its a cross between a dark deep red and a lovely burnt raspberry. This shade is worn by me through summer, autumn and wintertime. It’s sexy and I love wearing it.“
To Achieve this look: 1. *Skincare, Suncare, Base & Conceal*. 2. Powder. 3. Brows. 4. Apply your lip first, then you can adjust eye makeup accordingly. 5. Bronze, give yourself some depth 6. Using your bronzing brush, sweep in circles over the eyelids what ever product is leftover on the brush. 7. Blend your bronzer with a blending brush up away from your crease, moving into the brows. For some subtle but bronze-y definition 8. Highlight, here ESRScreatives has used Honey-Pot from the Too Faced Natural Eyes palette. Yes, it’s an eyeshadow. No, you probably should not use it as a highlighter but its golden and we want gold in this look. You can always find a golden toned highlighter if you want to do this properly. 9. Curl lashes. 10. Mascara.
..so you could leave this look there.. however, if you like more definition around your eyes or want to
TURN IT INTO NIGHT: a few additions:
1. Line your eyes on the top lashline. We have used a metallic purple shade. Yum. Yum. 2. Sweep Cashmere Bunny or an alternative cool Taupe shade across the lids. 3. Starting with a little circle motion, start to blend Chocolate Martini, a warm chocolate brown shade with sheer golden glitter particles, under from where you would define your crease, in the middle of the eyelid. 4. Start to sweep this across the eye, giving yourself a deeper socket, without blending right down towards your lash line. This should make your eye POP. 5. And lastly, mascara if you haven’t added this already!
